The Companies screen allows you to set up, manage, and organize your company structure within Tresio. It’s designed to give you a clear, hierarchical view of your business entities.

Here’s a breakdown of the columns displayed on the Companies screen:
- Company name – name of the company
- Comment – Notes to the company
- Created At – Date on which the company was added
Creating a New Company
To add a new company click on the +New button.

Fill in all the required information.

Key fields to note:
- Default currency – the main operating currency for the company
- Parent company – select a parent to place the company within your organization tree
Please note, to view data for subsidiary companies, make sure the setting is enabled under: Forecast > Settings > Show subsidiary

Editing or Deleting a company
To edit an existing company, click the pencil icon and the editing window will appear. To delete multiple existing companies, tick the boxes and click Delete, or for one company click the trash icon next to the item you want to remove.

Export
Under Export, you can export the data to an Excel file or a PDF document, copy the data to your clipboard, print it, or export it as a CSV file.

To add multiple companies at once use the Upload option.

Download the sample Excel to use as a template and complete the file with your company data.

Upload it by dragging and dropping or using the Browse files option. Map your Excel columns to the corresponding system fields to ensure accurate data import.
Settings
The Settings button takes you to the regional settings. You can find more details in the blog article here

Filter
If you click on the filter, the view settings will open. The actual view is the standard filter without the parent company. If needed, you can add the parent company and give this filter a new name under View name and then dublicate it.


Switching between companies
Most Tresio screens display a company selector at the top.
- Click the drop-down list to switch between companies.
- If you have many companies, a pop-up filter window will help you quickly find the one you need.
