With the sharing function in TRENDS, views from Tresio can be easily shared externally.
Possible use cases:
- Sharing cash flow plans, reports, or dashboards with people without a Tresio account
- Providing management or investor reports via a link
- Embedding charts or dashboards in third-party applications, customer portals, or intranets
- Secure access for external stakeholders such as board members, banks, or trustees

After saving, Tresio generates a unique sharing link through which the view can be accessed.

Overview of sections
The sharing settings are divided into several areas:
1. General settings
Basic configuration of the share.
Features:
- Status: Enables or disables the sharing link
- Valid until: Defines the expiration date of the share
- Comment: Optional internal note about the share
- Share URL: The link is automatically generated after saving
2. Display and access rights
Controls which functions are available on the shared page.
Features:
- Allow export: Enables data export for external users
- Allow access to settings: Grants access to certain display or configuration options
- Mouseover enabled: Shows additional record details on hover in charts
3. Company access
Defines which companies are visible in the share.
Features:
- Selection of one or multiple companies
- Supports group and holding structures
Only selected companies are shown in the shared view.
4. Scenario access
Defines which scenarios are shared.
Features:
- Selection of scenarios such as base, best, or worst case
- Scenarios can be shared separately per company
At least one scenario must be selected per company.
5. Login & password protection (optional)
Adds additional access security.
Features:
- Username definition
- Password definition
Recommended for sensitive financial data or external access.
6. IPv4 address restriction
Limits access to defined networks or locations.
Features:
- Access restricted to specific IP addresses or ranges
- Ideal for corporate networks or internal applications
