What is Amnis?
Amnis is a neobank for SMEs. With multi-currency accounts, favorable exchange rates, and flexible debit card solutions, this Zurich-based fintech offers a broad range of services that benefit SMEs. Through its automated email export, Amnis provides a convenient way to connect your accounts to Tresio.
Setup: 2 Steps
Step 1 – Set up a daily email export in Amnis
- In Amnis, under https://app.amnistreasury.com/automation/, create a new automated export
- Format: XML (CAMT.053)
- Frequency: Daily
- Recipient: select a user, and set up an auto-forward rule in Outlook or Gmail to camt@tresio.ch

💡 Important note on auto-forwarding in Gmail or Outlook: Set up the automatic email forwarding rule using the following two triggers:
- Sender = noreply@amnistreasury.com
- Email header = contains “Your requested statement export”
As an alternative to auto-forwarding, you can also add camt@tresio.ch as an additional user and set up the daily export for this user – however, it is important not to grant this (technical) user any further permissions.
Step 2 – Notify Tresio
Once the automated export is set up, simply send an email to support@tresio.ch. We will then link the statement folder with Tresio.
Done – from now on it runs automatically
From the first successful export onward, your bank statements will sync with Tresio daily and automatically. No manual upload, no recurring manual work.
Benefits of this integration
- No development effort, no API keys: No credentials or keys need to be stored with Tresio – the connection runs exclusively through the email channel.
- Not limited to Amnis: The same integration works with any bank worldwide that is able to deliver bank statements automatically by email – not just CAMT.053; other formats are available on request.
- Fast onboarding: Setup takes just a few minutes, with no technical configuration required on your end.
- Full control: The export always remains controllable from your own banking/treasury platform – Tresio only receives what is actively sent.
Background: Why email integration?
In addition to classic banking interfaces such as EBICS, API-based protocols, SFTP/FTPS, or manual file upload, email integration is an often underestimated but very practical additional way to get data into a third-party system quickly.
The key advantage: email integration requires no credentials to be stored anywhere, neither with you nor with Tresio. This makes it especially attractive for banks or platforms that do not (yet) offer an open API, or for customers who do not want or are not able to invest technical resources into an SFTP or API connection.
For banks with an open API connection (e.g. via EBICS), the direct, automated route remains the faster and more robust solution. Email integration is the pragmatic complement for all cases where this is not (yet) possible.
